Terms of Use
Last updated: 4 August 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the MetricBridge app ("the app"). By downloading or using the app you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
What the app does
MetricBridge reads health and fitness data from Apple Health read-only, with your explicit permission. It can answer plain-language questions about that data on your device (Ask and the Weekly Health Brief), and it can write a JSON summary to a destination you choose (your own iCloud Drive, a local folder, or a network endpoint you configure over LAN or webhook) so an AI agent you control can read it. The app never writes to or modifies your Apple Health data, and your health data never passes through any server operated by the developer.
License
You are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and the standard Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), which applies to the app except where these Terms are more specific. You may not reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the app except as that EULA allows.
Purchases
- One purchase. Everything included. No subscription. The app is unlocked by a single non-consumable in-app purchase. It covers full export, the raw MCP tools, on-device Ask answers with provenance, the Weekly Health Brief and the live agent tools, permanently. It is not a subscription, nothing renews, there is nothing to cancel, and export and MCP access are never metered or throttled. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- Free trial. The app includes a 7-day free trial; when it ends you need the one-time purchase to keep using the paid features. Apple shows the exact trial length, price and term on the purchase screen before you confirm.
- Prices vary by storefront; Apple's purchase screen is the source of truth for the exact price and term before you confirm.
- The purchase unlocks the app on the Apple ID used to buy it and can be restored on your other devices via "Restore Purchases".
- Payments are processed by Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple under its standard refund policy; the developer cannot issue refunds directly.
Not medical advice
The app describes your own data and how it deviates from your personal baseline. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Anything an AI agent produces from your exported data is for general information only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified health provider for medical decisions, and never disregard professional advice because of something produced from this data.
Your responsibilities
- You choose where your data goes. Once data reaches the destination you configure, it has left the app's control and is governed by that destination: your cloud provider, your own server, or the AI client you point at it. Choose destinations you trust and keep your endpoint tokens private.
- You are responsible for securing any computer, server, or AI agent you connect to your exported data.
- You agree to use the app lawfully and only with health data you are entitled to access.
Advertising measurement
The app includes Meta's advertising SDK so we can tell which adverts lead to installs. It reports app events to Meta (that the app was installed, that a free trial started, that a purchase happened, with amount and currency but no product name) and your device's advertising identifier only if you allow tracking when iOS asks. It never receives health data. iOS asks your permission first; declining changes nothing about how the app works, and you can change your answer at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Meta is an independent controller of what it receives. The detail is in the Privacy Policy.
Provided "as is"
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The developer does not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that exported data will be complete or accurate for any particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the app. To the extent any liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app.
Apple
Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them.
Changes
These Terms may be updated from time to time; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
