Health Export AI exports your Apple Health data to your own AI agents over MCP — privately, read-only, with no accounts. Most questions are answered below; if you're still stuck, email us.
1. Install the app and grant Apple Health (read-only). Turn on export — your metrics are written privately to your iCloud Drive.
2. Install the extension in your agent (Claude Desktop, opencode, Cursor, …). The bundled MCP server reads your iCloud Drive folder. No bridge, no servers.
My agent shows no data. Confirm export is on in the app and that iCloud Drive has finished
syncing, then check the extension points at
~/Library/Mobile Documents/iCloud~ai~healthexport~app/Documents.
Is my data private? Yes — it stays in your own iCloud Drive and is read only by the local MCP server you install. It never reaches the developer's servers. See the Privacy Policy.
Does it change my Apple Health data? No. The app is strictly read-only and never writes to Apple Health.
How do I stop exporting? Turn off export in the app, revoke Apple Health access in iOS Settings, or delete the app to remove all local data.
